Welcome to my bizarre little world!
What's New Now:
It seems that this site gets a little update, on average, every two years. I haven't completely forgotten about
it, though.
I'm still working at the hospital. It's been a little more than three years now. I've been working there
longer than I've ever worked anywhere else. I think I'm getting ready for a change, though. I enjoy my work, but
I'm feeling that urge to grow again, and there just really isn't room for that as a phlebotomist. Before I make that
change, though, I'd like to see the lab through it's information system change. I don't know that it's something that
will benefit me in the future, but I would really like to be able to say, "I was in on the ground floor of this."
I'm battling with some new girly-issues, so I figured it was time to expand my Women's Health Issues page. I'm going to be exploring fibrocystic breast condition and pubovaginal slings. It may take some time to
catch up on everything, but hopefully someone, somewhere, will stumble across it and learn from it. At any rate, after
my sling surgery, I'll have 6 weeks off, and that should give me ample opportunity to really develop the new sections.

Here you'll learn all about me: my interests and hobbies, the people in my family, and more. I've
included a list of my favorite links to other sites. I've recently added a new page, Sigs and Signs. It's the
home for my on/off hobby of creating text gifs. If you'd like one, please email me or sign my guestbook with your request,
and I'll get with you a.s.a.p.
My women's health page hasn't grown much recently, mostly due to my disgust with the medical community in general.
Just ask my husband, this whole Jekyll and Hyde thing happens every time I get going on that particular subject.
I would like to add a little more to my hysterectomy diary, and if I have time, I may do that soon.
My poetry page is only there because I kept getting insistances that I really needed one. I'm not much
for poetry, I'm more of a day-to-day life sattirist. But it's there, and I use it on occasion, particularly when a friend
has shown me a poem that impresses me. If they don't know what to do with it, and are willing to allow me to publish
it, that's where it goes.
As of now I am a 3+ years employed phlebotomist, mother of two, and wife.
Please,
don't forget to drop in and sign my guestbook. Hearing from my readers not only gives me a big ego boost, but I
also would like to see some suggestions on other issues you would like to see covered in my site. The link below
will give you access to my guestbook and e-mail address.
